Product Description/Introduction

The product is a mycoplasma inhibitor composed of 3 antibiotics, quinolones, tetracyclines and macrolides. This product has been optimized and tuned to effectively interfere with mycoplasma DNA replication and protein synthesis, thus preventing mycoplasma contamination during cell culture without affecting the cells. At the same time, it can also inhibit Gram-negative and positive bacteria, and can be used as a substitute for Penicillin-Streptomycin in daily cell culture.

Storage and Shipping Conditions

Ship with wet ice; store at -20, avoid freeze-thaw cycles, valid for 12 months.

Assay Protocol / Procedures

1. Add Mycoplasma Prevention Reagent (1000×) to cell culture medium corresponding to the cells (containing serum, without double antibiotic) at a ratio of 1:1000, and mix well.

2. Cell culture was performed according to routine cell culture steps.

3. The product can prevents mycoplasma contamination in cell cultures. If mycoplasma already exists in cells, it is recommended to use mycoplasma elimination reagent (recommend G4006, G4007, G4008).

4. The product is stored at -20 to avoid freeze-thaw cycles. If added to the cell culture medium, it can be stored in 2-8 for at least 1 month. If there is crystallization or precipitation after thawing, vortex or reverse mixing can promote crystallization or precipitation dissolution, without affecting the use effect.
