Product Introduction
This product, Recombinant Renilla luciferase, is a luciferase derived from Renilla luciferase expressed by recombinant E. coli, with a molecular weight of about 37 kDa. This enzyme uses coelenterazine as a substrate and catalyzes the oxidation of coelenterazine to coelenteramide in the presence of oxygen molecules, emitting bioluminescence with the strongest wavelength of about 465nm during the process.
Definition of enzyme activity: The amount of enzyme required to produce one relative light unit (RLU) within 10 s at 20-25°C is defined as one unit of enzyme activity.
Purity and concentration: Purity detected by SDS-PAGE 95%, 2 mg/mL.
Enzyme Storage Buffer: 20 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM DTT, 50% glycerol, pH 8.0.
Storage and transportation
Transported in wet ice packs; stored at -20°C, valid for 12 months.
