BioFact™ H-Star Taq DNA Polymerase is a chemical-mediated HotStart Taq DNA polymerase. This recombinant Taq DNA polymerase is inactive at room temperature avoiding extension of non-specifically annealed primers or primer-dimers and providing higher specificity of DNA amplification, and its functional activity of the enzyme is restored during 15-minute incubation at 95°C. BioFact™ H-Star Taq DNA Polymerase is suitable multiplex PCR or allele specific PCR in diagnostics or screening which is required high specificity and high sensitivity in PCR due to its characteristics. It enables amplification of target DNA up to 21 in a single reaction at once.
