Product Description/Introduction

This product RecombinantLysozyme, derived from Homosapiens, is an enzyme that hydrolyzes the 1, 4-β-glucoside bond between n-acetyl-muramic acid and n-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in peptidoglycan and between n-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in chitodextrin. Lysozyme is mainly used to lysate bacterial cell wall and prepare bacterial protoplasm during nucleic acid or protein extraction. However, lysozyme is used more and more widely at present. Recombinant human lysozyme can be used as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent, food preservative, feed additive and so on. Compared with the lysozyme extracted from egg white, the recombinant human lysozyme has more stable physical and chemical properties, higher purity and higher activity.
