Description/Introduction
The effective component of this product is 1-Bromo-3-chloropropane, which is less toxic and is a substitute for chloroform. Because the reagent has stronger hydrophobicity, it can completely replace chloroform in RNA or DNA extraction by reagent method, and form a tight intermediate layer, which can reduce the total amount of the reagent, and has no effect on the quality and yield of separated RNA or DNA.

Assay Protocol / Procedures
Extraction of RNA by reagent method as an example: when using 1 mL RNA Isolation Reagent (Cat. #: G3013) or TRIzol for single-step method extraction of RNA, replace 200 μL chloroform with 100 μL of the reagent, and the remaining steps remain unchanged.
