【Summary】

Amantadine is a drug with multiple uses and varied mechanisms of action. Chinese poultry farmers used amantadine to protect birds against avian influenza, that cause avian flu (H5N1) strains in China and southeast Asia are now resistant to amantadine. However, in Western countries and according to international livestock regulations, amantadine is approved only for use in humans.

【Principles】

The Amantadine ELISA Test kit is an indirect competitive enzyme-labeled immunoassay. The antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the antibody (antibody solution) with Amantadine in the sample, anti-Amantadine antibody binds to the HRP enzyme conjugate. Then pipette the substrate solution to the wells to convert the color.

The color of unknown samples is compared to the color of the standards and the Amantadine concentration of the samples is derived.

The Amantadine ELISA Test Kit is competitive ELISA for the qualitative or quantitative analysis of Amantadine in samples of chicken and pork.
