INTRODUCTION
COX Assembly Mitochondrial Protein 1(CMC1) is a member of the CMC family. CMC1 is required for mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase (COX) assembly and respiration. CMC1 attaches copper and might be involved in copper trafficking and distribution to COX and SOD1.
DESCRIPTION
CMC1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 129 amino acids (1-106 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 14.9kDa.
CMC1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
